too long

hello my beautiful friends!

It has been entirely too long since there has been a post and since I miss you all more than I can say, I will tell you what has been going on in my life. Work has been wonderful so far. I'm working with some really great people that I like a lot. I have had one "oh shit I can't do this" moment but I think we all have those so I cried and then got over it. I'm still living with puff and cathy (puff misses you lindsay) and looking to hopefully buy a house in the next couple months! I reallllyyy want this cute little house that my sister's friend is selling but we'll see cause i have no money right now:

i'm jealous of everyone who was in Clemson this past weekend and I figured out my schedule so I will be in Clemson for PC, Miami and Maryland at least! I hope to see EVERY SINGLE ONE of you!!

I've been reminded of all of you soooooooo much today. I was in our core curriculum classes (we have to take the whole time we are in orientation) and we talked about scoliosis, guillain barre, trachs, and my educator went to the GREAT WOLF LODGE this weekend. She broke her wrist and she STILL says how much fun it was!!!!!!!!! we HAVE to go!!!!!

please tell me all about your lives soon. I can't wait to hear all about it!

Also, she is currently playing on her new Blackberry for you freaks that like to BBM. Add her if she can figure out what she's doing! My Life with Bretta Nichole

Well hello to my sexy Statins! I miss you ladies sooo much and I can't believe it has been 3 months since we graduated!!!! As you are all aware, I got a job in Columbia on the oncology unit at Palmetto Health Baptist. For those of you that are not in Columbia and actually read this blog (aka Linds and Tori) this hospital is the downtown location while Les, Em and Bretta are on a different campus. I had my first day on the floor yesterday and got punched by a demented hospice patient so that was interesting, but I also got to see intrathecal chemotherapy be placed by a lumbar puncture, so highs and lows! haha! I hope I will like it, there is a 10 bed hospice unit attached to the 30 bed oncology unit, so we will see how the death and dying part works for me.

I am also moving in with Bretta on the 17th to our new 2 bedroom apartment, which will be a great improvement to the air mattress I have been living on for 2 weeks now in the tiny living room in her current 1 bedroom! My attempts to figure out her gmail situation and get her on board this blog have been slow coming, but alas I am trying.

I miss you ladies so much! Call me please!!!!!!

I think I speak for everyone when I say we love you and we're so happy for you! Can't wait til the day Eric pops the question to the rest of us!

Also, even more congratulations on passing N-CLEX! For those of you who are keeping score, that means that all eight Statins are officially RNs and first-time passers. I'm very proud of all of you and every single one of you are going to be great nurses and make a big difference to a lot of people!

I think I speak for everybody (except for the FOUR of you lucky ducks that ended up in the same city) when I say that we miss you so much and wish we could be there for your birthday! Soon when all of our schedules are figured out, we will find a time for some visits and make-up birthday drinks and .... other things ;)

also, I would like to point out that at this time last year, Danielle and I were kicking butt at cornhole at wingin' it. in case you guys forgot how good we were at it.

So I am getting settled in Nashville! love love love it here! I am starting work this thursday night. i am on the renal unit first! These are pics of my new room. We dont have a couch yet so i will post more pics of my apt when it is done being decorated! love you girls and miss you so much!
